Unfortunately, severe storm warnings in the Hartford area led to the cancellation of the 2025 CCBL All-Star game which was to be played on Thursday, July 3 at 6:30 pm at Riverfront Park in Glastonbury. Given the limited dates available for makeup games to complete the CCBL regular season, it's not practical to reschedule the All-Star game. All-Star rosters for players who would have represented the North (Southington, Simsbury, Western Mass, Glastonbury, Silk City and Meriden) and the South (Bridgeport, Waterbury, Hamden, West Haven, Gold Star and Danbury) are displayed below. CCBL Commissioner Tim Vincent congratulates the players selected for the All-Star game and wishes all 12 CCBL teams good luck as the regular season winds down and the playoffs approach.

Bridgeport Barnums Take the CCBL Title
On July 30 at Simsbury's Memorial Filed. the Bridgeport Barnums outlasted the regular season champions Southington Black Knights 5-2 to win their first league championship in only their second year in the league..
After 4 innings of scoreless baseball, the Bridgeport Barnums got on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning with consecutive hits by Sebastian Sampieri (Anna Maria) ,Yeudy Ramirez (AIC) ,HBP on Ian Nilsen (Quinnipiac) ,a John Heitzman (Quinnipiac) single, and Will Stellato’s (Gettysburg) sacrifice fly, each resulting in scoring a run that put the Barnums up 5-0 after 5 complete.
Starting pitcher Hayden Lee (Salve Regina) earned the win for Bridgeport Barnums surrendering four hits and two runs over six innings, striking out six and walking three. Ty Davis (Bryant) took the loss for Southington Black Knights. He went five innings, giving up five runs on four hits, striking out two and walking four. Bridgeport’s Cole Gibson (U. New Haven) collected the save getting out of a bases loaded jam to end the game.
The Bridgeport defense kept the Black Knights at bay in the early innings as John Heitzman made two great defensive plays in right field and third baseman Sebastian Sampieri made a defensive web gem to end several Southington threats.
